Synopsis:
The overreaching narrative of the film will follow the melting snow off Mount Shasta to it’s multiple final destinations in our rivers and streams, dams and lakes. This film will explore the vast and complicated geographic details of just where water goes and how it travels through the many watersheds originating around Mt Shasta – and where it ends up! Water and its many uses will be explored in the current context of who shares this resource today and also a historical synopsis of how water was essential in the development of our local area. The video will also touch on the multiple lenses in which water is seen through in terms of culture; as an essential for life and our health, for farming and industry, recreation and the spiritual power of water.
