Hello,
My name is Rita Loyd and I am a watercolor artist and writer. The theme of my work ~ is the healing power of unconditional self-love. I made this very simple video on the subject of self-love because I felt it was a very important subject to talk about. I believe there are too many people in this world who hate themselves for no better reason than because someone ignorant of love convinced them to do so. But I want all women and men to wake up and to know their value. Because when we are awake and know our value, our life changes for the better and our hearts open to also see the value in others. And the more awake we are to our own value, the more we develop ourselves and our talents to make our lives better and to make the world around us a better place too. I believe that unconditional self-love is the missing piece to our spirituality. In church we are taught to know and love God. But not often enough are we taught to know and to love ourselves. But that was not the fault of Jesus' teachings for he told us ~ love your neighbor as yourself.
