Synopsis:
Esma Redzepova, the legendary 'Gypsy Queen,' has been performing all around the world for more than 50 years. The King and the Queen of Gypsy Music (1976, the first Roma Festival in India) is Esma with the Teodosievski Ensemble.
In 2004 four film students had the pleasure to meet Esma in Netherlands during her tour with the Boban Markovich Orchestra and the Fulgerica Band. She told us her story between the rehearsals and the performances.
