Synopsis:
This film takes a sixty-year tour through New Mexico's nuclear history and the devastation it has imposed and the future threats it portends. From the birth of Los Alamos, to the detonation of the first nuclear bomb, to the detonation of bombs for the "project ploughshare" project in the 1960's to the creation of the first world's nuclear repository, to the ongoing environmental and health threats it imposes, this film focuses on three curious components that are ever-present as we examine new mexico's nuclear legacy: Denial, Deception, and Curious Communication and asks the audience to become a vital force in combatting this destructive industry.
