Synopsis:
"Bed and Breakfast" speaks about the challenges faced by Arab Palestinian children living in the old city of Nazareth, in Israel. It illustrates what Nazareth means to its youth today - the lack of playgrounds and the absence of hope. The film offers the viewer a perspective of the souq (market) in Nazareth through the eyes of four young children - Mohammad, Majd, Bishara and Hala. The perspective is an alternative to that normally seen by "bed and breakfast" tourists of the city. Nazareth, a town of historical significance, today faces severe problems, as is highlighted through the lives of the children and the adults that surround them in the souq. Through this interesting and honest perspective, the viewers are taken deeper into the situation of Palestinian citizens of Israel.
