Synopsis:
This short experimental documentary tells the story of my hair donation to a cousin undergoing chemotherapy. Using four interchanging screens, the film reveals different feelings about long hair - why I grew mine so long and how the recipient is affected by losing hers. After the 22-inch long hair is cut to have the wig made, we watch the wig-maker tediously sew individual hairs into a mesh cap. The attempt to have a wig in time is halted when the wig-maker himself falls ill due to cancer.
