This documentary is devoted to a people in danger: the Zapara tribe. The Zaparas live in the heart of the Amazonian forest on both sides of the Ecuador-Péru boundary. Of approximately 200 listed individuals, only four elders still speak the original language. The oral inheritance and cultural events of this tribe had been proclaimed by UNESCO as a "masterpiece of the oral and immaterial inheritance of the creative humanity." The creator of these people, Piatsaw, had predicted, right from the start, its disappearance. We discover how the Zaparas fight so that this prophecy is not achieved. The film shares with us the impassioned voyage of a Zapara woman through several Indian communities of Peru. She leaves to research her roots, to strengthen the culture of her people, her identity, and to perhaps escape from the terrible prophecy...
