Synopsis:
"Valencia“ tells the story of young postman Manuel who lives with his father Kurt, a heartless alcoholic, in a small flat in Vienna. His everyday tour also leads him to the flat of Anna Lichtenberg, an old lady whose only son Johannes went to Valencia, Spain, a few years ago. Every month Manuel delivers a letter form Johannes to Anna, who lightens up everytime she reads about her son’s life. One day she gives Manuel her response letter for Johannes. But Manuel doesn’t take it to the post office: at home, he opens it and finds a 100€ bill in it, Anna’s gift for her son. Manuel keeps on spending his time with the old lady, reading Johannes’ letters to her, until his father sees through Manuel’s game...
