Synopsis:
"Together Alone" is a story is about how recognition of our common humanity can overcome fear, suspicion and isolation. Trish, a careworn single mother in her 30s, lives in fear of people and the world around her. She works alone, as a cleaner at night, cleaning vast corporate offices. Her seven-year-old daughter accompanies her. Trish hides her vulnerability with aggression when she meets Vadimus, a recent immigrant to Australia, who claims that he is her new co-worker and they must clean together. Trish’s lack of co-operation and aggressive behavior riles Vadimus and when Trish’s daughter goes missing, she expects the worst.
