Synopsis:
In a perfect world, happy families can exist. There, little girls wear white dresses, eat a lot of ice cream, paint pictures, and dance ballet. Parents kiss because they are in love. This film peeks in on a Russian family in America. Late one night, two sisters can't sleep. Through a bedroom door slightly ajar, they hear their parents arguing about unfamiliar things. Puzzled, the sisters try to interpret what they hear, and their imagination becomes their guide, protecting them.
