Synopsis:
Shortly after the Spanish Civil War, in a completely impoverished country, a prestigious doctor is sent to a small Spanish village. Only one person accepts to be his host: a woman who is thought to be crazy by the whole village. Despite this issue, the doctor only needs one day to find in that house happiness, comfort and peace in times of suffering, and to consider who is crazier: his hostess or their environment.
