Upon visiting Greece for the first time, her parents' homeland, Sophia discovers love, passion and the beauty of friendship. Unfortunately, life throws her a terrible curve ball and she suffers a tragedy, which causes her to flee with the hopes of putting all behind her. The more she runs, the more the dark shadows of her past chase her. After years of being bitter and numb, the broken Sophia returns to Greece and is forced to come to terms with her past and all that she has lost, including herself. She has glimpses of all that she was as she pieces her past and her life back together. She ends up realizing that all that she has searched for has been there all along. Sophia’s journey back allows her to remember who she is and that which matters most – her roots.
