Synopsis:
The cross-country bicycle ride that's collecting different environmental perspectives along the southern tier of the United States finds itself leaving Tempe, Arizona, heading for New Mexico. Their first stop is at the San Carlos Apache tribe reservation, home of the tenth-largest Indian reservation in the United States. After one month on the road, the bike riders arrive at the New Mexico State Border. After crossing an 8,000 foot peak in freezing conditions, they meet two people who show them two different approaches to building an environmentally-friendly home with straw bale. The riders take a deep breath to check out air quality in El Paso, Texas, and close this leg of the ride with the Poo Poo Choo Choo.
