Synopsis:
The film takes place in one of the most beautiful regions of Polish Pomerania - the wide valley of the Słupia River. The stars of the film are the migratory fish that live and spawn in the river. A group of environmentalists decide to help the fish, which are searching for good spawning grounds. They begin to build gravel-spawning grounds for the fish. Will this unusual, innovative environmental experiment be a success? Will the residents of a large city be able to witness firsthand one of nature’s great mysteries - salmon spawning?
