Synopsis:
Touch Drawing is more than an art form; it is a powerful therapeutic process and a vehicle for deep soul work. In this video, Deborah Koff-Chapin creates several drawings through the touch of her fingertips on paper. She then reflects on the experiences that lead up to her revelatory discovery of Touch Drawing on her last day of art school in 1974. Beginning with images from her teenage awakenings and student years in New York, she goes on to share how Touch Drawing emerged, and then served her soul development over the following twenty years.
Deborah communicates about several aspects of Touch Drawing's use as a healing creative process. Its great potential is being be tapped as it is taken up and practiced by therapists, artists, healers and educators. The video closes with a moving sequence of Deborah's images accompanied by original music. Deborah Koff-Chapin is the creator of SoulCards.
