Shin is a Japanese man who lives in London. He is a pianist. Shin decides to travel to Europe with a plan to compose the best piece of music which he has never composed before. He arrives to Croatia and a local family suggests him to visit Rovinj which is called "Pearl of Adriatic Sea". He begins to record ideas and his emotions into a voice-recorder. Although he encounters with good people and enjoys his time, his motivation to compose music becomes smaller. He gradually becomes frustrated and feels solitude in the alienating situation. Everything that he has managed to record until the very last day of his trip is the conversation with his own self. Beautiful scenery and sounds around SHIN take his thoughts back in time when he lived in Japan. His memories and present merge together in Rovinj. Shin's internal journey begins and takes him deeper and deeper into own self. He realizes that exploring own self is a truer journey than the physical one. His conscience evaporates into the town. He departs from Rovinj leaving it just the way it was on the day of his arrival. The town remains unaware of his spiritual journey which doesn't end long after he has left.
