Synopsis:
Amidst the San Juan Islands - an archipelago of more than 170 islands in upper Puget Sound - live several pods of orcas known collectively as the Southern Residents. Both The Center for Whale Research and the Pacific Orca Society tracks and studies orcas and other marine life to help protect and conserve them for future generations.
