Synopsis:
The movie addresses the problem of gender-based violence in Armenian families that is observed through the lens of cinematography art and is presented by means of pantomime performed by a young female actress and the monologues of women, victims of violence, who recite their stories on the background of an artistic craft workshop. The film is based on real stories of real victims of violence who has been interviewed by Mariam Ohanyan; however, their anonymity is preserved.
The film brings into the spotlight the recent death of Zaruhi Petrosyan, a young woman, who fell victim of domestic violence. The tragedy is pictured through the story of Zaruhi presented to the audience by her sister and through Zaruhi's photos that create a unique vision of the life and hardships that a young woman lived through before her death.
