Synopsis:
For nearly two decades now, Lord Ram has remained a captive of political ambitions and egos, even if the temple at Ayodhya or the Ram Sethu project are no longer election issues. Increasingly his name is being appropriated by outfits like Ram Sene in Mangalore to spread the culture of intolerance. But for thousands of years before this, people have been searching for and finding their own Ram, within and outside. In the poetry of Kabir, the music of Thyagraja and the ramlila performances.
