Synopsis:
"Writing Against Death" is a documentary that looks at the subject of the death penalty from a special perspective, that of an involved protagonist: Ursula Corbin from Switzerland, who makes a personal contribution towards the abolition of the death penalty by building up a close and long personal relationship - through letters and visits - with an inmate on death row in Livingston, Texas, thus introducing a shred of humanity into a system that is so inhumane. The film tries to answer questions that arise in interviews with Ursula Corbin and her family, as well as with Steven Moody, who is sentenced to death.
