Synopsis:
50-year-old Belgian actor Carl Ridders suffers from the motor neuron disease ALS. In the last months of his life, he gets a lot of visitors. One of them is a photographer: Lieve Blancquaert. Together they have very intimate talks, make pictures, and philosophize about life. In the final stage of the disease, Carl chooses euthanasia and the two friends have to say farewell.
