Synopsis:
Sevket became a well-known photographer in two years, almost instantly after he took his first photograph. The reasons for that are partly the subjects in the photos, his un-tamed, unique eye, and partly his being a cab driver. His subjects are the poor, homeless, outcast people who make up the night population on the dark and insecure streets of Istanbul. There are reasons why he started photography; it was the only way he could think of helping; by taking their photographs, he wanted to call attention to the homeless problem and make their voice heard.
