Synopsis:
Ensuring viable livelihoods is an important public policy concern today. The opening up of the economy has created a demand for technical and skilled manpower. This demand can be met if we can enhance the skills and knowledge of our labour force. To this end, the Department of Science & Technology and the UNDP have launched a Project on Skills & Knowledge for Improved Livelihoods and Living Standards. The film profiles the project and, how it is helping the unemployed youth grow new wings.
