Synopsis:
This is a documentary about Jaan Ehlvest, a chess wunderkind, who broke into the top of the chess world and stayed there thorough the reigning time of the world champions of chess Garri Kasparov and Anatoli Karpov. He left Estonia, his homeland, and turned into a lonely cynic in the U.S., whose life consists of alcohol and continuous strides, but he is still attempting to reach the ultimate heights of the chess world.
