Turning Prayer into Action : Director: Cynthia Jurs | Genre: Documentary | Produced In: 2008
Synopsis: The Grandmothers are holy women and healers who have formed a council to reach out to the world on behalf of the Earth and all beings in these critical times prophesied by their ancestors. The Bioneers ("biological pioneers") are activists, educators, scientists, and visionaries working on solutions to the planet's problems who joined with the Grandmothers in order to address the need to heal ourselves, our relations, and our planet. This program plants many seeds to help awaken us to the need to join together to put our "prayers into action". This film is a one-hour program that brings together the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers in Dharamsala, India, with the Bioneers Conference in Northern California for a live dialogue via a satellite "spacebridge".
