Synopsis:
In "Sailing Miss Sadie", an eccentric social entrepreneur liberates three persistent young offenders on an empowering white-knuckle voyage of self-exploration. Having sailed through ten foot waves to Venezuela, there are still rough seas ahead as the lads find themselves back in prison. In Caracas. Will their experiences and the stories of inmates inside anarchic El Rodeo Jail horrify them into turning their backs on a life of crime and violence for good? Described by new BBC One Controller Danny Cohen as "one of the most moving, powerful and entertaining documentaries I've seen", expect an emotional joyride through the adolescent criminal mind, leaving them (and you) wondering: is life really a process of self-discovery, or of self-creation?
