Synopsis:
Gholam Ali Pour-Atâee is a master of folkloric music and song in Khorasan (northeast Iran), a traditional music which is strongly joined with the culture of this population. Meanwhile, during the last 30 years, the social and political situation of Iran had led him to an unwanted isolation. Therefore, he would be the last master of this ancient music and we would no more hear these original songs after he is gone. The director has tried to conserve some traces of this musical culture, disappearing for the social and political reasons in today’s Iran.
