Halid Bunic:The Eternal : Director: DAMIR NEMIR JANECEK | Genre: Documentary | Produced In: 2006
Synopsis: Halid Bunić the Eternal is about one great historic person. That is movie operator Halid Bunić. We met at the Film library where he works. We hung out there for years because no one ever comes there. Unfortunately today, all, even a lot of artists think that they have invented the world. They neglect the past. But Halid never neglected the past. He is the most important person of ex-Yugoslavian cinematography. And nobody knows about it. The movie was shown in Belgrade, at the film library in Paris, even Aki Kaurismaki, Wim Wenders and Emir Kusturica watched the film... It won several awards for best student documentary. I hope that through this film people will get to know Halid Bunić - the Eternal! We dedicated the movie to Henrie Langlois, the founder of first and greatest film library, the one in Paris.
