Ferdinand has always believed that a Composer can make better Films. Chicken ala Carte has confirmed what he has believed for a long time.

Ferdinand graduated with a degree in Music Education at the Universidad de Santa Isabel. He trained in music composition under the tutelage of the late National Artist Lucio San Pedro , a towering figure n Philippine Music.

At the age of 19, he produced his first album entitled THE CAPTAIN which showcased his exceptional songwriting abilities. The album highlighted his outstanding lyrical works that were considered epic in modern Filipino music.

He worked as record producer for Warner Music and Viva Records - two of the biggest recording companies in the Philippines and composed songs for many of the country's singing superstars like Christian Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go, Jolina Magdangal, Francis Magalona, Timmy Cruz, Grace Nono and Alynnah.

He composed the music, wrote the lyrics and co wrote the libretto of the musical Something to Crow About based on the stories of National Artist Anding Roces which became the 2007 Best Musical at the ALIW Awards. ( the Tony awards of the Philippines. ) This hilarious musical on Cockfighting was the First Filipino Zarsuela to be performed Off Broadway at the La Mama's theater in New York and was performed to standing ovations in Los Angeles and San Francisco

Aside from being a composer and film director, Ferdinand is also a marketing guru. He has directed more than 100 TV commercials and recorded hundreds of radio commercials. He is a marketing consultant to many business establishments in the Philippines.

A well known environmentalist, Ferdinand was the music director and composer of the environmental group, EARTHSAVERS MOVEMENT for fifteen years. In the process, his music and lyrics were performed in many parts of the world. For its outstanding contribution to promote environmental preservation and protection, EARTHSAVERS became the only musical group to be named UNESCO Artists for PEACE.

Ferdinand has another film in competition at the Green Festival : BINAMBAN ( Glorious Food of Lago- noy ) This film was the Winner at the Torino Short Film Competition in Italy sponsored by the Slow Food Movement and the Berlinale Talent Campus in October 2006.

Ferdinand is currently the music composer and record producer for ROSY CHEEKS ENTERTAINMENT - a major American entertainment company that is producing the show of the musical legends Society of Seven with American Idol Jasmine Trias at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas.
