The specializations, particularities and mysteries associated with this group of animals make ornithology a distinctive field. Furthermore, high visibility, enchanting colors and the great aesthetic appeal of this group makes it fascinating and intriguing to the general public, hobbyists, and amateurs as well as specialists.The film addresses several aspects of ornithology: its historic evolution, its roots in culture and religion, developments in science and the problems of conservation. The subject in the country has grown through the works of people from various walks of life through centuries. The film “Ornithology – Past, present and future†is an attempt to showcase the development of ornithology in the country.
