                    Synopsis: 
                    “We the Palestinian people, we are like the roots of our olive trees,†the old woman told as she, in grief-stricken rage, held up the huge root of an old olive tree, now uprooted. She declared: “we are like those roots, we are not leaving!†
During the three months I lived in Occupied Palestine, I met with people of all ages and backgrounds fighting this “uprootedness†and resisting in so many ways the wholesale assault perpetrated upon not only the Palestinian people themselves, but upon their buildings, their culture, their way of life and even their history, by the Israeli Occupation Forces. 
Choice is a luxury the Palestinians cannot afford. If they cease to resist, they cease to breathe, they cease to live...
