Synopsis:
'Mullet Fishermen' reveals the simple daily life of a primitive community of fishermen on a small island in Southern Brazil. The film explores the community's religious customs and the superstition regarding the fishing techniques. Further, it covers the issues of the decline of the mullet fish population due to industrial fishing.
The film follows a particular family, whom have lived as fishermen for several generations. Through them we get an insight into the lives and the primitive techniques of this community of sea workers in Brazil.
