Synopsis:
The Wayku is a Quechua native community located on the city of Lamas, in the Peruvian Amazonian jungle. Through history, they have suffered marginalization and racism from the people called "mestizos" (mixed race people), their neighbors in Lamas. Nowadays the relationship is better, but the consequences are obvious and the Quechua culture of the natives is in danger of disappearing. Both natives and "mestizos" are conscious of how important is to preserve their culture, but the question they ask themselves is: Is there any hope? Or is it only a matter of time before this culture disappears forever?
