Synopsis:
This is the story of a woman, whose husband hits her every day. In Mexico City, Maria, 30 years old, married for two years, mother of two children, tries to keep up appearances. Today, Maria received flowers. It is Monday, a day like any other, not her birthday. Last night, Maria and her husband fought for the first time, he insulted her, he was cruel. Tonight was like a nightmare for Maria, her husband came late, launched her against the wall and started to beat her brutally. Unfortunately for her, all the blows she received in her face were real. On Tuesday morning, Maria gets up, she has difficulty to walking, she twists in pain. The doorbell rings, a delivery man brings flowers again. This is not the day of Saint Valentine, this is just a regular day. That night her husband was late, he has threatened to kill her. When rising on Wednesday, Maria does not have the courage to go to work or put on her makeup, or wear even long sleeves. She cannot not hide her injuries, she does not want her colleagues realize what is going on....
