Synopsis:
In the virtual world of "Second Life", Bendix represents his three-dimensional character in living a wild life with pretty women and parties in the art scene. But in real life, Bendix sits alone in front of his computer day after day. The way he lives in the virtual world is very different to the way he lives in reality. His self-designed good-looking and muscular pixel man gets to know hundreds of people from all over the world. In real life, he has trouble meeting new friends because of his sensitive nature and inability to cope with a refusal. In "Second Life", Bendix has a close relationship with his pixel wife Alexis, who represents a real-life character of a woman who lives in California, USA. But her real name, how she looks or where she really lives, Bendix doesn’t know. Although his two worlds are completely different, his experiences and feelings for his virtual wife and friends are real. He states that the relationships in "Second Life" have the same intensity as in real life, and at times are even more direct and honest. In getting to know Bendix and his colourful virtual world, one starts to understand the way he thinks. At the end, the question is what is real and true for oneself?
