Patas de Kiltro (Street Dog Walking)| 43mins
Director: Alina Astudillo & Guillermo Gonzalez | Producer: Alejandra Fritis
Focus Years: 2003 | Country: Chile
Synopsis:
"Street Dog Walking" is a documentary film which proposes to show how little we know about one of the many inhabitants of the city: the street dog. It not only manages to offer information and raise thematically, from various points of view and voices, a question which up to now has not produced a serious and honest discussion: re-evaluating the nature of the urban dog in concrete and symbolic terms. It also questions the authoritarianism and violence which feed the solutions to social conflicts that Chileans must address.
