Synopsis:
The film deals with the taboo subject of homosexuality among the gypsy community through the personal story of a Romany activist, who happens to be gay. His activism has earned him a respectable status in the Romany community, which him coming out jeopardizes. However, his wish to share his complicated story with the world led to him writing a screenplay about his life. The film is a documentary about his autobiographical screenplay and as such switches between documentary and dramatic form. Through this distinctive narrative, the film offers a view into a hidden world of triple discrimination - discrimination of Roma people, discrimination of homosexuals but also discrimination of Roma homosexuals by their own community.
