Jyoti is filmed in Jharkhand and has a beautiful story telling style of a young girl's journey into the world of music. Jyoti- the Newsreader is the story of how you can change your life if you communicate and articulate what you need. Jyoti grew up in a village with a little support for singing talent. Her family objected to her pursuing singing as her career. Jyoti won a scholarship to go to big city and there she followed her dreams. First she auditioned the radio station and then she got a chance to run her own show and now she reads news on a National TV channel. She also sings with a folk orchestra and travels the world.
