Director: Naïs Van Laer | Producer: Les Films de l'Arrosoir
Focus Years: 2011 | Country: France
Synopsis:
Created in collaboration with a Gypsy family living in slums in Montpellier, Southern France, the film questions marginal places and their dwellers.
Through several seasons we follow the family’s daily life and share their intimacy. In the precarious sheds, three generations of women together weave the thread of their life-stories, their identity and emotions, while in the background, demolition cranes are slowly moving closer towards their campsite homes.
