Synopsis:
Nike is a wise and disarming 7-year-old girl. She has to take Ritalin at home and at school, due to an ADD (it is called ADHD in The Netherlands) diagnosis. If it was up to her, she would stop taking these pills immediately, because Nike doesn't want to be different from her friends. 'Except for when someone gets their finger stuck — then I do want to be a different person!' And the pills taste awful; that's another reason. But children cannot make their own big decisions. That's what parents do. When she really insists, Nike is allowed to go to school without Ritalin for one day. She hopes to show that she can do without. Will that help to convince her parents?
