Synopsis:
Twixters is a documentary film about three 22 year-olds that live at home with their parents. As a part of an increasingly large and talked-about demographic known as Boomerang Kids, Michael, Josh and James are under tremendous pressure to 'grow up' and move out. This film illustrates what goes on during this temporary yet tempestuous time in a young person's life when they are cohabitating with their parents. Twixters also serves as an autobiographical space for the filmmaker, James Pratley Watson, who lived and worked out of his childhood home during the making of the film. His band, Pratley, provides the soundtrack for this lyrical, intimate and very musical documentary.
