Synopsis:

FranÃ§oise has been living alone in a forest, south of France, for more than 45 years. When I asked her what a hermit was, she answered: "nothing, a hermit is nothing". She allowed me to come and visit her regularly with my camera for almost two years. She introduced me to the teachings of Meister Eckhart, a fourteenth century Christian philosopher, theologian, and mystic.
