Synopsis:
The film follows Sital Faujdar, the last surviving artisan from a centuries-old family lineage in Bishnupur, West Bengal, who continues the intricate craft of making Dashavatar playing cards-a traditional hand-painted card game based on the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Through his hands, history, mythology, and devotion merge on circular cards, each crafted using ancient techniques passed down through 87 generations. As interest in the game fades and modernity encroaches, Sital struggles to keep the tradition alive. The film is a poignant portrait of cultural legacy, quiet resilience, and a fading art form on the brink of extinction.
