Director: Parisa Gorgin | Producer: Parisa Gorgin
Focus Years: 2010 | Country: Iran, (IR)
Synopsis:
Wind in the culture of southern Iran has the two aspects: good and evil, just like in humans.... In the first episode (“Windâ€), the evil wind captivates the wandering human and captures his soul. In the second episode (“Waterâ€), the symbol of light, women are in exuberance. Man crosses the clear water. In the third episode (“Earthâ€), the ethereal women (celestial women) perform earthly ceremonies and celebrate the revival of the earth in the New Year festival. Humanity examines its true nature. The fourth episode (â€Fireâ€) is the symbol of purity.... The good aspect of wind appears in form of Zaar Baba who drives out the evil spirit from human’s body in the Zaar Ceremony ... and reaches light again.
