Synopsis:
This film gives a history of the Hare Krishna Movement, or the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in the USSR. In the 1980's, before the fall of the Iron Curtain, devotees of Krishna were persecuted, imprisoned and tortured for their beliefs. It also documents the spread of the Movement in Ukraine up to the present day.
