In 2007, Estonian artist Jaan Toomik decided that he would try to direct a feature film. Toomik's film documents the artist during this period. It is a moving portrait framed by the relationships which have inspired his work: family, friends, and eccentric individuals he has encountered, painted, and filmed on his journey from nightmare to creativity.
