V.S Alagan, the Hindu keeper of a Catholic cemetery, shares his knowledge of the graves of different faiths, how he overcame his fear of ghosts, and his one time visit to Jaffna.
This portrait is part of the 'I Am' series, a multimedia project looking at identity through the lives of Sri Lankan elders. The project is trying to engage people with oral history and, through the wisdom of these wonderful elders, to challenge perceptions of identity and explore how this could help bring communities together.
